Using knowledge to encourage life long learning is the main goal of our teachers. Community is the glue of Rockwelll, each person matters and every voice is heard. Our organizational structures of team teaching, interdisciplinary teaming, flexible modular scheduling, and nongraded structure have been proven effective. Reflection is fundamental to the success of the students and the quality of the instruction.  As Reflective Practitioners, we consider which techniques enhance student learning and which ones need to be revised. The famous painter/visionary, Norman Rockwell, displayed the power of reflection in his painting titled, Triple Self-Portrait. We pledge to abide by the code “Teaching for Student Learning!” Rockwelll students are involved with the content, so they “genuinely learn” by connecting the new subject matter to what they already understand.
